The Singapore River Planning Area is home to Clarke Quay in Singapore. It can be experienced day or night, but check out the pictures to see how it is lit up after sunset. It is beautiful, and it is quite the happening place. You can even take a river cruise if you like to really get a good look at the scene at Marina Bay along the Singapore River.

The area does become a party zone till the weekend hours, so families that visit might actually want to go during the afternoon and leave after sunset before the area gets wild. There are plenty of restaurants that serve up all kinds of different cuisines, and people talk about walking around and the smells of different foods hitting their noses, beckoning them to stop for a meal.

Clarke Quay in Singapore sounds like quite the place, doesn’t it? Specifically, it is located at 3 River Valley Road, and there are also rides there that you can enjoy, an extreme swing and a reverse bungee. Taking a romantic walk around the area at night with your partner would be a great idea, and you guys could stop in for dinner wherever you like. The cruise idea would be romantic, too.

Riverside Point is said to be a popular place of interest at Clarke Quay, and you can enjoy an excellent dining experience there. Again, while it is also great to visit the Quay during the day, it is a Singapore nightlife hotspot. Among the restaurants, you will also find many clubs, pubs and bars. Many of the establishments that you will see are overlooking the river.

If you are there at the right time, you can catch a light show, too. Clarke Quay also has a very interesting history as you can imagine. It hasn’t always been a nightlife hot spot of course, so learning about the area’s history is also fun. Take whatever approach you want when visiting Clarke Quay, but it is definitely a must see area of Singapore when on vacation there.

Clark Quay is said to be kept clean and well-maintained, and that is impressive for a nightlife hot spot. Singapore is known for keeping everything clean and maintaining its beauty though, if you didn’t know. People talk about Singapore in those terms like they talk about New Zealand.
