Singapore is home to the first Art Museum ever in the world, and it officially opened in 2011. Located at 10 Bayfront Avenue, the Art Science Museum is part of Singapore’s Central Area. One of the aspects of this museum that is truly unique is that most of the exhibits at the museum are always changing. The reason for that is the museum, while featuring select permanent exhibits, mostly houses exhibits from other museums around the world. Here are some tips from us.

The museum is housed in a beautiful flower petal shaped building at Marina Bay Sands. The permanent exhibits there are grouped into three categories: Curiosity, Expression and Inspiration. They are magnificent, but the touring exhibitions are what will make you want to come back to the Art Science Museum again and again.

There are some wonderful interactive exhibits for children and families. The list of touring exhibitions that have been at the museum since its inception is lengthy and really cool. The fact that the exhibits are always changing is part of the mystery of the place. You will have to see it to believe it.

That entire area of the city of Singapore is a great place to visit. The fact that there are so many interactive exhibits really makes the museum extra special, too. Marina Bay Sands is the resort off of Marina Bay. Reviews mention that there is a short 10 minute walk to the front of the entrance to the museum. Can you imagine how much time you are going to spend there?

There are other museums in Singapore, but this is one of the best. People come from all over the world to visit this museum, and most all of them leave stellar reviews. In the past, there has been a Titanic Exhibit, and Andy Warhol exhibit and much, much more. In fact, reviews mention that at one point, there was an exhibit that allowed you to draw cars on paper that subsequently became part of a cartoon race for everyone to see.

If you are visiting Singapore, the Art Science Museum is certainly a place you need to see. Since the resort is there, you can stay right in the area of Marina Bay if you like.
